Who Are You Sitting Next To?
I just happened to sit next to a woman at the party named Beth. She had a daughter named Elena, whom Hailey Rose really took a liking to. So, in passing I mentioned to Beth that Hailey Rose is adopted. And Beth then shared with me HER amazing story about HER journey to her baby girl! What a serendipitous meeting it was! I could have sat next to anyone, but I was guided to sit with another soul who had a fertility struggle that led to the blessing of a lifetime.
Friends, you never know who you are sitting next to. Beth was the story I had been hoping would come to me. She is an amazing woman who walked the walk, and did what it took. She stepped out of her comfort zone, broadened her world (with the incredible support of her husband!) and followed her dream.
Life is too short. If YOU have to do something that seems out of the norm, or uncomfortable, or something that you NEVER would have imagined entertaining the idea of…well…welcome to my world. We never think that life is going to hit us with some of the things it does, but when it does…you gotta get tough. And it’s always good to keep an open heart, an open mind and opened eyes. The angel that has been sent here to help you, might be only a phone call away, right in your very own family or circle of friends…just as it was for Beth.
