Infertility, infertility, infertility everywhere!

Ok…I am really becoming more and more convinced about these\

environmental issues and their links to our fertility problems!  Maybe it IS the microwaves!  Or the plastics that we use day in and day out!  Or both!  I don’t know.  But what I DO know is this:  everywhere I go I am  meeting women suffering from all sorts of infertility issues!  EVERYWHERE!   At the grocery store, at the hairdresser, at the gym, at my church, even the woman taking me back to have a mammogram that broke down in tears when she asked me ‘how many children do you have?’ and I said ‘one, through adoption.  I am unable to have children.’  Yes!  She cried, and I hugged her.  She cannot have children either!  What the heck is going on?

Journeys To Motherhood #20

I have been receiving sporatic e-mails for quite some time now from the co-author of many books, two of which I just heard over the computer as ebooks. Her name is Shola Oslo, and her products and information come from London. Though I had been wanting to check into her books, I had put them on the backburner for a while. However, after hearing from two women recently about their successes in conceiving after long struggles, and how they credit the information in Shola’s books and their applying it to their lives as the reasons…it made me too curious to sit on it any longer.  So I delved into two of Shola’s books, Natural Fertility Cures and Clear Fallopians.

Fallopian Tube Blockages…one of the leading causes of infertility

I had mentioned fallopian tubes in my last blog, and that I had been listening to an e-book regarding the unblocking of them.  It is quite amazing how narrow and delicate these tubes are.

In my quest to become pregnant, I had to have the dye test done a couple times, which is when they shoot dye through your tubes to be sure they are open and free-flowing. The first time I had it done, they had a difficult time lining up my cervix to actually perform the test, as I had a fibroid in there pulling my cervix back.  It took two women to hold me down, for I was shaking so badly from the pain.  Once they finally got my cervix in position, and put the instrument inside…they then could not get it unattached to retrieve it!  Oh My God!  I screamed so loudly that my husband heard me down the hall in the waiting room!  It was one of my top 2 most painful moments in my infertility battle…(the other being my trips to Long Island, NY for something called The Chapman Procedure, where they tried to unblock your tubes nonsurgically, by using a slow drip.  I laid there for 3 hours in and out of excruciating pain.  The good thing is, they believed it had unblocked me, as the drip managed to make its way through the tubes…the mission of the procedure.  Nonetheless…I still didn’t become pregnant.)

The funny thing about my first dye test is that the tubes proved to be fine!…open and free flowing!  But there were so many other problems, I guess that just wasn’t enough!  After going through a myomectomy, a couple hysteroscopies, a few laporoscopies and two invitros, my tubes then decided to become blocked, (which is when I went to NY, as mentioned above.)  Hmmm…..sometimes you can feel like every single door is closing right before your eyes!  (thank GOD for adoption!!)

I hope the information we’ll be sharing on the upcoming show will help you all to work on unblocking those tubes naturally…and succeeding.

New book I’ve read to help with infertility

It is almost 3:30am, and I’ve been listening to an ebook that I just couldn’t shut off!  It is entitled Clear Fallopians: Clear Your Fallopian Tubes and Get Pregnant, by Shola Oslo.  What a lot of information!  And what a lot of GREAT information!  I am SO anxious to share this one with you on my next show!  (And something funny, she also mentions the wonderful massage technique in the book, that I mentioned in my last blog!  I am now even MORE excited to have Arvigo done to me!)

There are many causes of infertility, but it seems like the pattern I’m seeing in the ‘natural’ world, is that once you clean up those ‘insides’, most of those issues begin to desolve and clear on their own….making it a better, more optimal situation, for one to conceive on their own, or with I.VF, or with whatever road they choose to go down.  It is all about contributing to our health and healing..using our God-given abilities to create a better body all the way around…inside and out.

I have to go to bed now, but knew I just had to blog a brief little blog about this book and the excitement it has caused me!  There are even fertility tea recipes in it to help, and lots of advice on cleansings, as they are quite important as we detox and rid ourselves from the yuck within.  You have to get rid of the bad to make room for the good, right?

I hope you are sleeping tightly as I write this, and tomorrow morning, attack your day with a cheerful vengence!  Rock on, you reproductively challenged sisters…rock on!

Massage Technique to Help with Infertility

I have been speaking with a woman by the name of Angel, whom I met at an adoption seminar where I had spoken.  She came to me to discuss being a guest on my podcast, and she informed me of her spa (Centre Avenue Massage & Spa) in Pittsburgh, where she performs various massage techniques, but one in particular that is of help women who have, and ARE having infertility issues.  She is going to give me a complimentary massage, so that I can see (and feel) what she’s talking about.  Her kindness touches me.  I’m very excited about this, and just today I spoke with her about a feeling of uncomfortable pressure that I have every now and then in my tummy.  Angel said there is probably some alignment issues inside of me…and that she can help with that!  (Yepee!!  I know I need to align a lot of myself….but didn’t realize I could possibly be out of alignment ‘down there’!!  Who knew!?)

The massage technique is termed ‘Arvigo’, and I believe it began in Belize.  I will have the whole scoop on my show from Angel herself, PLUS what it was able to do for me.  (before you are even worked on with Arvigo at the Centre Avenue Massage & Spa, you must fill out 5 pages of questions so that you are given the uttmost personal treatment!)

This could be helpful to you if you are struggling with infertility….OR if you had in the past, and feel like there might be some funky ’stuff’ floating around inside.  My wish would be for scar tissue from invitro and lesions from endeometriosis to be broken up, softened and then poof!…gone!  Now I’m NOT saying that’s what Arvigo promises to do, but anything at all will help!

I’d love to hear from any of you who have had experience with Arvigo.  Until then…hope you all are well, and that you are more ‘aligned’ than I.

Journeys To Motherhood #19

Welcome to the 19th show of Journeys To Motherhood!  It’s my pleasure to share with you two stories from two people  regarding their experiences with adoption.  One, from a recent adoptive mom, and the other, from on older gentleman and his experience as an adoptive boy.  There is happiness in story number one, and great joy.  In story number 2, however, there are many lessons to be learned and much to ponder regarding what happens to an adoptee when they are deceived about their parenting arrangement.  Honesty is always the best policy, though in the past that wasn’t necessarily believed to be the case.
